E-Invoicing

E-Invoice Validator

Check an XRechnung (.xml) or ZUGFeRD (.pdf) file against the EN 16931 mandatory fields and sum logic — entirely in the browser.

All data stays in your browser. No account, no transmission, no tracking of your inputs.
Important note

This validator performs a structural pre-check (EN 16931 mandatory-field presence + arithmetic consistency of the sums). It does NOT use Schematron rules and does NOT replace the official KoSIT validator, which is required for a binding check.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is checked?

The presence of the EN 16931 mandatory fields (invoice number, date, seller, buyer, amounts, and for XRechnung the buyer reference) plus the arithmetic consistency between line-item sums, net amount, tax amount and gross amount.

Is this sufficient for the legal e-invoicing mandate?

This validator performs a structural pre-check (EN 16931 mandatory-field presence + arithmetic consistency of the sums). It does NOT use Schematron rules and does NOT replace the official KoSIT validator, which is required for a binding check.
